CloudShare Usage Policy (Terms of Service)
Effective Date: 2026-07-19
Welcome to CloudShare. By using our service to upload or download files, you agree to these terms.
The Service
CloudShare provides temporary file hosting. Users may upload files up to 100 MB, select a retention period between 1 hour and 30 days, and share the generated link. You will receive a unique delete link upon upload; it is your responsibility to save this link if you wish to delete the file before it naturally expires. CloudShare is not a backup service; we guarantee no permanent storage or file recovery.
Acceptable Use
You are strictly prohibited from using CloudShare to upload, store, or share:
- Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM): Such content is strictly prohibited and will be reported to law enforcement.
- Illegal Content: Any material that violates EU or Swedish law, including terrorist content or material promoting illegal acts.
- Copyright Infringement: Material you do not have the legal right to share.
- Malware/Viruses: Files intended to compromise the security of other users or systems.
Enforcement and Abuse Prevention
We reserve the right to immediately delete any file and permanently block the IP address of any user who violates this policy. We do not proactively monitor files, but we act swiftly on reports of abuse.
Reporting Illegal Content (DSA Compliance)
In accordance with the EU Digital Services Act, if you discover illegal content on CloudShare, please use our Report Function. To process your report, we require:
- The exact URL of the file.
- An explanation of why the content is illegal.
- Your contact information (except when reporting CSAM, which may be done anonymously).
- A statement confirming your good-faith belief that the report is accurate.
Upon receiving a valid report, CloudShare will promptly investigate and restrict access to the file if it violates our policies or applicable law.
